Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Top of Answer (topofanswer.com), an AI search visibility tool. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who we are

Top of Answer is operated by Duygu Ulutürk, an individual based in Istanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@topofanswer.com.

2. Public beta

The service is in public beta and is currently free. Features, limits and availability may change at any time. We may introduce paid plans later. We will tell you before anything you use becomes paid, and nobody is charged without explicitly choosing a paid plan.

3. Your account

• You need a valid email address or Google account to sign in.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you may accept these Terms on its behalf.

4. What the service does

Top of Answer sends the questions you choose to third-party AI services (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI results via a data provider) and analyzes their answers. Results are snapshots: AI answers vary by time, location and wording. We report what these services answered when we asked. We don't have access to their ranking systems and we don't guarantee any visibility, ranking or business outcome.

Reports, summaries, recommendations and assistant answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Check important information before acting on it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• put personal data, confidential information or anything unlawful in brand names, prompts, competitors or assistant questions;
• use the service to harass, defame or mislead, or to infringe anyone's rights;
• try to bypass limits, access other users' data, overload or disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it;
• use automated scripts to access the service, or resell it, without our written permission;
• use the free AI crawler check on sites you aren't allowed to test, or to attack any website.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content and our use of it

You keep your rights to the content you provide (brand details, prompts, competitors, questions). You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated, anonymized data (which can't identify you or your project) to improve the service and to publish general research about AI search.

Example reports published on our site are independent analyses of public AI answers. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by the brands shown.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on third-party AI and infrastructure providers. Their availability, output and terms are outside our control. Brand and product names belong to their owners.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during the free beta, this is zero). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@topofanswer.com. We may end or suspend the service, or your access, with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have where you live.
